[BCMA] Interactive Stations

We use QR codes printed onto stickers, which are then placed on interpretive panels. Most visitors have cell phones so all they have to do is scan the code in their Camera app, which will then take them to your desired link (YouTube video, website, Google Drive, etc.) for more info. It’s essentially free, takes up little space, and is touchless but may require some initial instruction to your visitors. There are many QR code generators available online at no cost.

Hope that helps!

Hi Hannah,
Perhaps you can post your historical photos on line. Can you scan them to a computer so they are easily shared?

Hello Everyone!

I'm working at a very small museum and we are trying to find new ways to display more in the limited space we have. One option is to purchase stations where we can have our photograph collections with the history connected to them for people to access in the gallery. We would like to have several but we would like to know what companies are out there for these as well as who would be more cost effective. We understand that right now anything hands-on is not ideal, but we would like to start planning this for when we can do more hands-on things in the gallery again. Thank you all.
