Hello all:
A 1915 Prussian Garde Infantry Mannschaft (other ranks) spiked helmet was
stolen from the Chilliwack Museum sometime within the last five days. We
believe that this was a targeted theft given the value and difficulty in
stealing this object. Our object number for this helmet is CM1535. A second
number, M.177.2, may also appear on the helmet. Photographs are available if
needed. If any museums are asked for advice or are offered this helmet
please be advised that is stolen and, if possible, contact your local RCMP.
