[Bcma-l] internships

I’m looking into the idea of employing an intern to undertake an 
inventory of our collections and upload the data onto our new database. 
I’d be interested to hear from similar small museums that have used 
interns and gone through the process of hiring. I am applying to YCW for 
funding but they have a small allocation for internships.

It would necessitate relocating to our small northern town and finding 
accommodation for the work period. YCW can help with transport costs but 
not accommodation. Have you found that interns are willing to take on 
this extra expense in order to gain work experience?

Any advice or info greatly appreciated.
