Come help organize the 5th Annual ArtsWells Festival Of all Things Art,
August 1 – 4, 2008 in the historic Cariboo town of Wells, BC. This
multi-disciplinary arts festival features four days of music, plus
workshops, ArtWalk, Dance and the One Minute Play Festival. The position
would include organizing various areas of the festival including media,
logistics, coordinating artists and liaising with the community.
This job is a great opportunity for someone looking for experience in
organizing large events, working in the music industry, media relations,
public relations and a vibrant and dynamic team atmosphere.
*The following job is open to individuals who are EI eligible only. (To
be considered EI eligible you must be either currently collecting EI
benefits or have done so in the past three years. At the time of
consideration for a position we will determine if you are in fact eligible.)
Experience with organizing events;
Passion for music and art;
Computer skills;
Public Relations skills;
are helpful but not mandatory, this is a skills training opportunity
12.50/hour, 35 hours week
