A donor has offered BVM an "Art Desk" or "Chautauqua Desk"
 
These are folding table top desks fitted with scrolls and other 
accessories. They are intended as educational activities for children. 
The desks and scrolls were very popular in he 1920's, you could buy new 
scrolls and follow a complete course of study.
 
This desk appears to be in good condition but is missing the 
accessories. The scroll that is in the desk is the "Basic Shapes Art Lesson"
 
The donor is in the Lower Mainland
 
There is no BC history associated with the desk.
 
There are images of the desk that I can e-mail to anyone that is interested.
