Conversation Café with Pinhole Photographer Bob St. Cyr

Join Bob St. Cyr, local artist, photographer and University of Victoria
lecturer for an introduction to pinhole photography at the Legacy Art
Gallery and Café, Sunday July 11, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.

St. Cyr will give a 45 minute lecture on the process and art of pinhole
photography, followed by a discussion of his recent series, Café
Conversations. The series is on display in the Small Room at the Legacy
Art Gallery and Café, from June 11 to July 11, 2010. These insightful
images allow us to see how the pinhole method requires the photographer to
slow down and reflect on the photographic experience. St. Cyr´s playful
approach experiments with perspective, motion and composition at some of
Victoria´s best known locations, including local cafes and other meeting
places around the city.

Admission is free.
