Do you know a British Columbian who has accomplished sporting greatness?
The BC Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for 2011 until
October 1, 2010.

The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum preserves and honours BC's sport
heritage by recognizing extraordinary achievements in sport.  All
nominees must have attained a high level of excellence at a senior level
of competition and have brought honour to BC sport through their
passion, commitment and dedication to sport.

see a complete list of all BC Sports Hall of Famers. Categories for
consideration: Athlete, Builder, Pioneers, Media and Team. Please note:

The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, a non-profit society, is the 'go
to' organization for BC sport heritage. For over forty years, we have
honoured BC's teams, builders, athletes, pioneers, and media through the
annual induction ceremony, The Banquet of Champions.  By 'Honouring the
Past and Inspiring the Future', the Hall of Fame shares its vision of
those who achieved their dreams through dedication, talent, and hard
work.  To date 310 individuals and 52 team have been inducted into the
BC Sports Hall of Fame. The collection of the BC Sports Hall of Fame
includes over 25,000 artifacts and 20,000 archival documents
representing over 100 years of sport heritage in British Columbia. In
everything it does, the BC Sports Hall of Fame honours, educates and
inspires.
