ArtsWells Festival Coordinator – Job Posting

April 18 – October 14, 2011


The ArtsWells Festival Coordinator is the main person in charge of  
all aspects of the festival. The position would include organizing  
and/or overseeing festival artists, volunteers, contractors,  
sponsors, vendors, ticket sales, media, promotions, plus various  
logistics including liaising with the community.


Island Mountain Arts, the organization that presents the festival, is  
a vibrant arts organization that provides innovative cultural  
programming in north central BC. In addition to the ArtsWells  
Festival, the organization annually presents the Summer School of the  
Arts, the International Harp School, the Toni Onley Artists’ Project  
for Emerging and Professional Artists and a variety of additional  
events and workshops. IMA’s Public Gallery features exhibits by  
artists from western Canada and beyond. For more information see

Wells is a tiny community 80 km east of Quesnel, near Barkerville  
Historic Town and Bowron Lakes Provincial Park.  It is known as a
