Become a Docent at the Mission Museum!

 

Mission, BC - Do you have a passion for history, and enjoy working with
children in your community? Then becoming a docent at the Mission Museum is
the right position for you!

 

The Mission Museum is looking for volunteer docents to lead our elementary
school programs during the upcoming school year. Students will engage in an
interactive session at the museum involving stories, crafts, activities and
museum artifacts, all of which will be coordinated by our docents. Docents
will be responsible for leading the school programs, imparting knowledge
about early Mission and pioneer life, as well as directing the student
activities.

 

This dynamic and stimulating position is ideal for those seeking experience
in the field of history, teaching or any youth related area; as well, it is
ideal for those who are simply interested in becoming involved with their
community and working with the public!
