[BCMA] Donation offer to pass along

Burnaby Village Museum has been offered an unusual workshop tool

It is a homemade band saw made from two sheets of plywood  with the works sandwiched between.

The donor describes the saw as:

This band saw is 63" high, with a band length of 118" across 4 pulleys.  An auxiliary motor would be mounted on the platform underneath.  We do not have a saw blade for it. Bring a truck because it's very heavy!

As a bit of home grown ingenuity the saw is very interesting. Unfortunately there is no known provenience.
