[BCMA] Rebranding

Hi Terry;

Here are some points for you to consider.

You gets what you pays for.
Logo design is one of the many steps in a well thought out branding program. It is preceded by many steps that inform the resultant logo.
The logo is one component of many graphic elements that work in concert to support your brand (image, public persona, instant recognition).
Effective banding will help you achieve your organization’s objectives.
Interview several teams (solo practitioners, marketing agencies, design firms).
Evaluate based on:
past work;
understanding of the GLAM sector in general and the PDMA in particular as well as its audience;
connection to community ;
team member credentials and track record of working together;
methodology;
scope of service and deliverables;
fees and disbursements;
and last but not least, how nice they are.
