  Hello Theresa,

*Great news! We are excited to announce the Digitization Grant Initiative
(DiGI) is now open for the 2020/21 year!*

The DiGI program supports the digitization of Indigenous language resources
for First Nations communities and organizations in B.C. Including:

   - Support and funding to convert existing First Nations language
   materials to digital file formats.
   - Training opportunities for digitization projects.

Eligible activities include adding new digitization staff, purchasing
equipment, digitization training and cataloging resources.

*Funding amounts:* $10,000 - $100,000 available
*Eligibility:* First Nations communities and organizations in B.C.,
including First Nations societies, contractors, resource centres
(Friendship Centres), and governments (i.e. Band Council offices).
*Deadline:* March 27, 2020

*Timeline: *All projects must be complete by March 31, 2021.
