  Hello Theresa,

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for
select programs within the Indigenous Music Initiative (IMI) with a new
deadline of April 15, 2020.

The IMI program increases opportunities for Indigenous music industry
professionals to participate in, and further influence, B.C.'s music
industry through knowledge transfer, skill development and the creation of
new business opportunities. The Indigenous Music Initiative (IMI) is funded
in partnership with Creative BC <http://www.creativebc.com/>.


*The current intake for Spring 2020 includes the following:  *
Expanding Capacity in the Indigenous Music Recording Industry

is
intended for emerging Indigenous recording engineers/producers and
independent Indigenous recording studios who have demonstrated, active
commitment to working within the B.C. music industry.

Touring, Promotions/Marketing and Performance Initiatives

supports
Indigenous artists, ensembles, and collectives undertaking touring,
promotions, marketing and performance activities in Canada that will lead
to enhanced professional opportunities.

Applications are accepted from Indigenous (status, non-status, Métis and
Inuit) artists, organizations and collectives located in B.C.

For the first time, we are accepting Indigenous Music Initiative
applications online using the new FPCC Grant Portal

apply for funding while placing all your grant information at your

***NOTE: Applicants that received funding 2019/2020 will not be eligible to
apply for the 2020/2021 funding until their program is complete and final
